Childrenaged 0 to 6 years old

Duringthe first six years of life, enormous growth, change and development takesplace. In order to accommodate the needs of these children to the fullest,three separate age groups have been created; zero to one, one to three andthree to six years old.

Thefirst group, being called the Parent-Infant community, children as young aseight weeks old attend together with infants who are on their way of settingtheir first steps and their parents. 16 Sessions are held over a 10-week periodin an environment especially set aside for accompanying the growth of thebabies. Simultaneously parents can make new friends and receive information ontopics such as; Independence, Gross motor development, toys that hinder andtoys that help, sleeping and weaning.

Oncethe children are capable of walking without support in a stable manner, theyjoin the Toddler Community comprising of toddlers from 15 months onwards. Inthis group the children are exposed to such a variety of activities, graduallyincreasing in complexity, they remain stimulated to the age of three.

Thisenormous constructive and dynamic period of their life is completed in theChildren’s House where children of three, four and five years old jointogether. Living together with older settled role models, the youngest childrenobserve and internalize the attitudes and behaviour surrounding them.

Themixed age composition of the group encourages the children to function as amature micro society whilst simultaneously developing their very own individualcharacteristics.

Assistedplaces are available for two children from two families n a year, parents whodo not receive a financial contribution from their respective employers. Theseschool fees can be found as Reduced Tuition Fees.

Wewill be supporting school children with their home work and also support themwith further studies they are struggling in. There will be outside, boardgames, music appreciation or sometimes just quietly reading a nice storytogether.

Whicheveractivity is chosen during this time of the day, the most important aim of theafternoon is to continue the approach that was done earlier in the day, todevelop and maintain an outstanding feeling of self worth. ”I’m proud and happyto be myself!” should be the message that goes home by the end of yet another fulfillingday at school
